TikTok Ban in U.S Approaching., Great News For Female Athletes, and Surprising Food Ban | 01.15.24

The ban on TikTok in the U.S. is set to begin this weekend. Should it not be prevented, the app will cease to work for U.S. based users.  As the ban approaches there continues to be discussion about Elon Musk, Kevin O'Leary and others purchasing the platform, but no major movement has been made on that front. Plus, the House passed a bill to prevent biological males from competing in women's sports. 206 Democrats voted against it. Trump says he will start the external revenue service, the U.S. is surprisingly banning a food dye that is known to lead to cancer and much more.

The fires in Los Angeles continue to spread out of control, with new fires starting in Hollywood HIlls and Studio City. Meanwhile, as entire neighborhoods have vanished, leadership in California have only made themselves look worse, including Karen Bass, Gavin Newsom and Joe Biden. Plus, the first of two college football playoff semifinals is tonight when Notre Dame and Penn State square off in the Capital One Orange Bowl.
